Children’s activities – Sunday School and Friday Youth Group

When the apostle Paul wrote to his young friend Timothy, he commended him for knowing the message of the Bible from his youth up: “you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:14-15).

Throughout the Bible, believers are encouraged to teach their children about God’s message and His plan for the earth. For example, the Children of Israel were encouraged to explain to their children why they were celebrating the feasts (Exodus 13:14) and to make their faith a part of everyday family life: “These words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).

We try to do the same. Being a Christadelphian is like being part of a large family and people of all ages are welcome at all of our services.

There are also events arranged specifically for children. In particular, we hold a Sunday School every week where five classes of children are taught stories and lessons from the Bible and can enjoy practical activities associated with the lessons.

In addition, we hold a Youth Group centred around the word of God and a wide range of exciting activities.

The security of everyone we are responsible for is important to us. As a result, we have chosen not to publish details of children’s events online. If you would like more information, please contact us for details of the Sunday School and Youth Group.
